Literature Citation Format

In the same sentence that you are covering the relevant information insert the last name of the authors and the date of the publication:

Example:

John Doe reports that all GMO's currently approved for use are not being commercially produced (Doe, 2000). A group of scientists including John Doe did extensive research on consumer opinions of GMO's (Doe et. al., 1999). Meanwhile, John Doe Jr. and John Smith have developed the largest data base of commercial advertisements for GMO's (Doe and Smith, 1998).

Sample references that would appear in the Literature Cited section of your paper:
