Repairs and/or replacement of equipment returned with higher than normal, visible wear and tear will be assessed and repair or replacement will be billed to renter.
Late fees will be charged at the rate of 1/2 the day rate for each day after expected return date, but will not exceed the retail replacement price of the piece of equipment.
UVM faculty and staff are welcome to rent from the Outing Club!
The UVMOC rents equipment for wilderness living and snow travel for the day, the weekend, or longer by extended and special arrangement. Our Mission is to offer UVM Faculty and Students great gear at affordable prices. To assure availability and make gear reservations, call the Outing Club house well in advance of your desired rental date, and sign up for our listserv. Rental gear is issued as available on a first come, first served basis. The house accepts cash, check, or cat scratch! For more information about specific rental items, get in touch with us or stop by the house.
