THE EXPLORATION FILM FESTIVAL

Join NOLS and the University of Vermont Outing Club for The Exploration Film Tour! The Exploration Film Tour shares stories that aim to inspire adventurers to pursue their dreams, whether they do that by reaching remote summits, paddling the world's oceans, or digging around in their own backyard. We'll be showing 8 short films, followed by a Q&A session about opportunities with NOLS.

Location: Grand Maple Ballroom in the Davis Center

NO MAN'S LAND FILM FESTIVAL

No Man's Land is an all female adventure based film festival striving to motivate audiences to implement change in the gendered outdoor industry. These films "aim to redefine feminine in adventure and sport" with "the goal to connect like-minded individuals who are action-oriented, wish to support a shared vision of gender equality, have a desire to experience their passions and environments through a uniquely female lens, and above all, love adventure." Sponsored by the Outing Club's social justice chairs, this is a provocative event you will not want to miss!

Time: Tuesday, October 24th at 7 pm (doors at 6:15)

TELLURIDE MOUNTAINFILM FESTIVAL

Come see an amazing selection of films from the Telluride Mountainfilm Festival, RIGHT at UVM! Put on by the UVM OC and sponsored by Outdoor Gear Exchange, Mountainfilm is a "documentary film festival that showcases nonfiction stories about environmental, cultural, climbing, political and social justice issues that matter."
