Big air, wicked climbs, incredible drops and tons of action – they’re all part of an inspiring collection of high-adrenaline films presented by the Banff Film Fest folks. Admission includes free day pass to Bolton Valley and climbing at PetraCliffs.

Wednesday October 20th Instructional Mountaineering Info Session
Gather information on this unique instructional opportunity to develop your mountaineering skills and climbing horizons with the UVM Outing Club and Peak Expeditions in May 2004! We will be traveling to climb either on the Bagley Ice Field in Alaska or the Cordillera Blanca in Peru. Past UVM trip participants will share their experiences.

The UVMOC is going off the hook during Spring Break in March 2004! Find out how you and your friends can sea kayak the warm seas of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, backcountry ski the steep and deep in the Sawtooth Range in Idaho or head out for a rock climbing road trip to El Potrero Chico in Mexico!

Mike Libecki has scaled El Cap, explored remote regions of Greenland and braved the icy landscape of Antarctica. Now he will share tales of a recent journey through Queen Maud Land, Antarctica.

Friday October 22nd UnParalleled 4: “The Lost Season”
UVM alum and new school telemark skier Josh “Bones” Murphy brings the fourth film his award winning series of Freeheel films, Unparalleled 4: The Lost Season. Shot over the course of the 2002-03 and 2003-04 ski seasons in Europe and North America, the film draws it's name, concept, and feeling from the season that never was. Join the UVMOC for this freeheel skiing celebration!

Saturday October 23rd Matchstick Productions Film: “Yearbook”
The UVM Ski & Snowboard Club sponsor their first on campus skiing and riding premiereof the season. Shane McConkey returns with a performance of a lifetime, ski basing across the Alps and absolutely destroying his home of Lake Tahoe California. Sophomores Tanner Hall, Mark Abma and Eric Pollard deliver the best all around segments in skiing.

Friday November 5th Storm Shadows Productions: “Unbroken”
“Unbroken pays homage to those who are out there purely for the love of skiing & riding. “I’m not concerned with filming the big-name athletes. Storm Shadow is about covering the people, events, and happenings in backcountry Montana…no-name superheroes charging crazy big-mountain lines, kids killing street rails on the regular & posses roaming the backcountry.”
