The Outing Club is a group of students who is dedicated to bringing our peers and our community outside. Stewardship, social justice, and education are at the forefront of our values. We love our Haus, our cabin, and as a group we take our involvement in the UVM community with a great deal of pride and dedication. We want to show people what it means to be a part of the outing club, a part of University of Vermont, and a part of the outdoor community. So how do we do it?
The UVM Outing Club is dedicated to bringing social justice into our campus and outdoor communities. We host Social Justice meetings and retreats both on and off campus. Check out the Events calendar for details!
We are best known for leading trips in Vermont and the surrounding area. From hiking to ice climbing to kayaking, we do it all! Stop by the Haus to sign up for trips.
Every Outing Club Leader goes through one of five leadership development programs to be able to lead trips. If you're interested in what it means to be an OC Leader, check out our Leadership Development page!
