The Talk-Through

The Talk-Through is a study strategy that involves verbal rehearsal of content area concepts to an imaginary audience. 

Talk-Throughs:

        •    Determine what is known and what is still unclear.

        •    Improve understanding by rewording key terms.

        •    Store information in long-term memory.

        •    Actively involve the student in learning.
