Question Dissection

Question Dissection helps students analyze essay questions in order to understand what the answer should contain and how it should be structured.  

    •    Topic. The knowledge being tested.

    •    Test Verbs. The style or format of the question.

    •    List. The information that is needed.

    •    Number. The quantity of information that is needed.

    •    Order. The particular order of information.

    •    First Sentence. Reconstruct the question.
