Journal Writing

Journals are an important part of this class - your journal is the place to document your activities, observations, and reflections. Activities would include describing your work with individual students and your classroom participation. The purpose of the journal is to stimulate your thinking about issues, questions, and problems raised by your field experience. I will be looking for quality entries: evidence that you are thinking seriously about teaching and that you are making connections between what you are learning in your classes and what you are observing at BHS. Please state the time period being described (week 1, 1/18 - 1/20) and describe your activities clearly and with detail. I will collect journals every Tuesday and return them to you the following Thursday. You can also email your journal writings to me at mlrazza@madriver.com.Please use single sheets of paper for journal writing - keep them in a loose leaf binder.
