Marshall E. Dimock Award
Marshall E. Dimock was a national pioneer in the field of public administration with ties to the MPA Program at the University of Vermont. The Marshall E. Dimock Award honors the scholarly and professional achievements of a graduating MPA student and an alum of the UVM-MPA degree program each spring.

Frank Smallwood Award
Frank Smallwood, academic and practicing expert in public policy has served as a UVM-MPA Visiting Professor. He is well known for his caring demeanor, concern for those around him, positive outlook, and insightfulness. The Frank Smallwood Student Award is presented annually by the members of the graduating class to one of their class mates who is the most collegial, helpful, and supportive person in the class.
