HDFS 260, The Family Ecosystem
is an advanced seminar in which we examine approaches to understanding the family system and try to place families within the larger ecosystems they participate in. The approaches I emphasize are transactional and develecological. We study and apply Bowen's framework for understanding the family as an emotional system.
