• Research paper assignment - the student needs to do the following to handle this assignment successfully:
  
  • identify and cogently define the topic in a couple sentences
  • develop effective search strategies to locate information on the topic
    • make choices as to what type of information would be relevant for the topic, and where and how to locate that information
  • locate and retrieve the actual information
  • critically evaluate the information's usefulness, quality, and relevance
  • organize, synthesize and communicate the information in a meaningful, coherent way
    • correctly cite all the information resources that have been consulted
