NotifyLink

NotifyLink is a software package that has been licensed by The University of Vermont through Enterprise Technology Services to allow faculty and staff to use their BlackBerry with their UVM email and Oracle Calendar. It also provides access to the UVM directory for contact management.

Getting Started

Requirements:

  • Must be either faculty or staff at UVM.
  • BlackBerry is either owned or paid for by The University of Vermont.
  • BlackBerry has OS version 4 or greater.
  • Have a data plan purchased through your service provider.

Cost:

There is a monthly cost associated with this service that is waived for eligible users.

Supported BlackBerry Options

Client Services support of BlackBerry devices is limited to support in getting email and calendar data from the central UVM servers. Functionality beyond that scope is the responsibility of the device user, or the carrier, ie. Verizon.
