EXAM REQUIREMENTS

Skills

The student will demonstrate the student outcome goals for Level 7 which are:

• Carving in medium and long radius turns.
• Skidded short radius turns on steeper terrain for speed control
• Skiing a wide variety of conditions and trails including groomed black diamonds (Nose Dive, Hayride).
• Demonstrating speed control, selection of line, and ability to adjust to changes in terrain and snow conditions.

Knowledge

The student will demonstrate safety and etiquette in skiing.
