EXAM REQUIREMENTS

SKILLS

     1.   Bowl three (3) games-average 114 or better-women, 120 or better-men.
     2.   Good mechanics in approach, release, aim, follow through.

WRITTEN TEST

    1.   Analysis of mechanics - 4 step approach

    2.   Scoring - be prepared to hand score
    3.   Terminology-common terms related to bowling/lanes
    4.   How to pick up spares
    5.   How to throw a straight ball, hook ball (i.e. hand position)
    6.   Methods of aiming (options on where to focus)
    7.   Courtesy when bowling

    8.   League procedures; handicapping; absent bowler; completion of scoring sheet
