Research and Education:

I have a BA in Psychology from the University of Vermont, I minored in American Literature as well. I have a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Saint Michael’s College and am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. My Master’s research focus was on the correlation between adolescent self-esteem and career aspirations with an added focus on gender differences. The research was quantitative. I have recently completed my doctoral studies in Educational Leadership here at the University of Vermont. My doctoral dissertation research was on what students without disabilities have to say about membership in inclusive classrooms. This research endeavor was qualitative. I am currently interested in researching the connections between advisement and retention of college students.
