Board of Trustees Student Trustee Position

The application process for the board of trustees student trustee position is currently under way.  In order to apply, you must attend all three informational sessions (or check out videos from the SGA office *3rd Floor of the Davis Center of the info sessions) on Thursday 7:30-8:30PM 11/7, 11/14 & 11/21 DC 403 Williams Family Room. The application must be submitted electronically by January 15, 2014. If you are interested, please email selection committee chair Connor Daley (cdaley@uvm.edu) for an application. Let’s talk about alcohol, the dangers of binge drinking, pre-gaming habits, and the effects of drunkness. Stop by our tabling session Monday for free mocktails (non-alocoholic drinks) and debunkify some common alcohol myths. Come to the main event Tuesday to hear from Police Services about safe drinking, learn how to properly pour a drink, play drunkeness simulation games, snack on party food + drinks. Free giveaways!

Fifty Shades of White: Privilege

Join us for an important discussion on race, racism, oppression, discrimination, and how they all manifest themselves in our society, and on our campus. What roles do we play in either perpetuating racism or combating it – when and why?
