Crombie Street

Crombie Street was built before 1877, as it appears on the 1877 Birds’ Eye Map of Burlington.  However, no houses were constructed on this street before 1877.  In thirteen years, the street became almost entirely full.  Nearly all of the buildings on this street are from the period between 1877 and 1890, fourteen structures in total.  Many of them are typical of what was seen throughout the Old North End in this period of population boom.

No historical photographs could be found of Crombie Street.
