Old Mill, 94 University Place

The Old Mill has a long history and evolution, which includes several major reconstructions over the years. Although its story really begins in 1802, with amendments in 1824, 1825, 1829, and 1846, the building we see today (2004) dates from 1881, and completely replaces those earlier renditions – hence it should be noted as a surviving structure in the period of this study. The building underwent additional construction and remodeling in the 1920s and 1950s, and most recently, in 1995. It currently houses office space, classrooms and meeting rooms.
