(#47) 122 North Street / c.1875 / Cartier House
Non-contributing due to alterations
This two story, 3 x 5 bay building with a two-story shed-roofed false front was probably built in the flat-roofed Italianate style, but its detail has been removed or covered by vinyl siding. The window s are either plate glass or 1/1 aluminum.

In 1894 City Directories show that Joseph. P. Cartier lived in this house and by 1899 Mrs. Mary Cartier was living there alone. Their Blacksmith shop was next door at 128 North Street.
