I have long been an interested reader or your paper and have followed with interest the acts of the Legislature as reported in the columns of the Free Press. Among the bills that has focused my attention is the sterilization bill. I would beg leave of the honorable gentlemen of the Legislature to suggest an amendment to this bill which is namely this. That all patients who have been subjected to the provisions of the bill, should be tagged the same as our T. B.‐tested cattle, by a tag in the right ear of the male and one in the left ear of the female‐‐so that this circumstance would be readily recognized and they would never need be humiliated a second time by a clinical examination.
