Soon after we returned from Oaxaca we enjoyed a vist from Sue and
Sophie. It was wonderful to see friends from Vermont and to have
another excuse to visit nearby towns like Pátzcuaro and
Tzintzuntzan.

Markets
Don, of course, continued going to the soccer games where he could
cheer for the Monarcas. Here they are winning one of the key
games that got them into the playoffs, but they then made an immediate
exit . . . Maybe next year.
Mother's Day treats! Yarn art on the cover of the box (complete
with monarch butterfly and flowering water lilies), filled with lace
cookies, carmelized almonds, coconut cakes, and Rocky Road fudge, all
made without Helen knowing.
