MARRIED Harry Thomas, about 1840.  He was born about 1814, and died 10 December 1891.  Following Esther’s death in 1873, he married Lucretia who was born about 1823 in Vermont and died 17 July 1908 in Rice County, MN.

1860 Brandon, Rutland County, VT (dwelling 344).  Henry (44) and Esther (33) are listed with children Oliver S. (16), Nathan (14), Atta (9), Emma (6), and Frank (1).  Real estate $600.   Personal estate $100.
1870 Greenvale, Dakota County, MN (dwelling 106).  Harry Thomas (56, a farmer) and Ester W. (56, keeping house) are living with their children Nathan (24, a farm laborer), Attie (20, a cook), Emma (18, a waiter), Frankie (12), Anna (8) and Alice (6)—all born in Vermont.  Real estate $2,000.   Personal estate $500.
1880 Greenvale, Dakota County, MN.  Harry Thomas (63 VT) and his second wife Lucretia (53 VT), are living with his children Frank (21 VT) and Alice (15 VT).  Charles Stamford (8), a grandson, lives with them.
1900 Greenvale, Dakota County, MN.  Son Frank (41, b. November 1858), unmarried, owns his own farm free of mortgage.  He is living with his widowed step-mother, Lucretia (74, b. November 1825).  She had four children, two living.
