John Dutton, 24 October 1854 in Brandon,
VT. The son of William Dutton and Lydia
Johnson, he was born 15 May 1833 in Brandon, VT, and died 24 February 1905 of
“organic heart disease.”
John Dutton served as a private (and then artificer) in the 2nd
Vermont Battery of Light Artillery from 1862-1865. He
applied for an invalid’s pension in 1865, and Diantha M. Dutton applied for a
widow’s pension in 1905. |
