DEBATE CENTRAL
Debating Resources for the World since 1994
While the process of locating debate opportunities, applying to colleges, and following up on leads is something that students will have to do on their own, assistancer and guidance can be important.
Here are two resources which students might find useful.
This directory, put together by Jim Hanson of Whitman College, is a list of materials submitted by colleges and universities with debate and speech activities. While this is a large document, it can give you a lot of good leads on debating opportunities in college. Check it out and start contacting these schools.
We are constructing a list of schools who are interested in having students apply for admission, financial aid, and scholarships. These coaches are interested in helping you through the procedures for admission and financial assistance at their schools. Contact them! If you are a coach and want to get the word out to students, join our directory here.
These websites are offered as informational resources. No endorsement of these sites is given or implied. Gather all the information you can and then make your best decision, but always use the advice of teachers and guidance counselors.
