Duties of Officers of the CSA at UVM


President
  • The president coordinates the efforts of the other officers, various committees and the general membership, as well as presiding at all CSA meetings.

    Vice President for Social Affairs

  • This officer's duties are to organize and implement social events that gather the members together in a spirit of friendship and mutual support. Specific duties would include; "day away" trips, parties, dinners, movie nights, etc.

    Vice President for Finance

  • This officer's duties are to receive, hold, disperse and account for all funds of the CSA. This includes preparing the annual budget of the CSA and working with the Student Government Association finance department to coordinate all financial matters.

    Vice President for Publicity

  • This officer's duties are to publicize and promote CSA activities to its members and to the University of Vermont community. This includes publishing the newsletter and keeping the internet home page current.

    Vice President for Spiritual Affairs and Community Service

  • This officer's duties are to coordinate spiritual events and community service opportunities for the CSA members. This would include planning the First Year Retreat, assisting the Chaplains with other retreats, planning the prayer component of the CSA meetings, and coordinating community service events within the Catholic Center community, eg, children's Valentine making, and outside the Catholic Center, eg, the Crop and COTS walks.
