UVMers! Are you ready for THE 2011 UVM Winter Carnival?!


Wednesday Feb 16th: 6:00-7:00 Gingerbread House Making and Decorating. Davis Center Livak Ballroom

-Come make a gingerbread house with local children and families. 

Thursday Feb 17th: 7:00 PM A Capella Concert

-Come check out the best of UVM's A Capella! Hit Paws, Cats Meow, and Zest will all be there! Doors open at 6:30.

Also Thursday Feb 17th: 9:00-2:00 AM A Night on the Rocks 

-The UVM Boulder Society and 2011 Class Council brings you A Night On The Rocks. Come celebrate UVM's Winter Carnival downtown on Church St. at Das Bierhaus, Metronome, Red Square, RJ's & RiRa's! Don't forget to order "The Boulder Brew" and other drink specials at all venues listed! 21+ only, ALL UVM students welcome!

Friday Feb 18th: 7:00 PM Lafayette Plaza: Rail Jam with UVM Ski and Snowboard Club. Need we say more?

Saturday Feb 19th: 9:00 AM-4:00 PM Harris Millis Basket Ball Courts. Snow Sculpture Contest.

-The theme will be "The Year of the Rabit" in celebration of the Chinese New Year. Come support your class and put your sculpting expertise to work.

Sunday Feb 20th: 1:00 PM Billings Library North Lounge (walk in Billings and take a left!) Poker Tournament

Entry fee is $20. You can buy-in the day of the tournament in Billings or sign up in advance in Kalkin 101.

2nd: $150
3rd: $100
4th: $80
5th: $70
6th: $60
(sliding scale)

The final table will also receive UVM Winter Carnival t-shirts! There will also be various prizes and give-aways to players during the tournament.
