If you are using tables to lay out a document that will later be used as a Web page, make sure your table automatically fits to the browser window. Doing this ensures that the columns of your table will adjust to the width of the viewer's Web browser window so that a surfer who comes across your page doesn't have to resize the window manually.

• First, make sure your insertion point is within the boundary of your table.
• Select Table | AutoFit | AutoFit To Window.
