UVM 4.205K for Wellness

 

Here at the Wellness Environment, our team utilizes behavior change techniques to incentivize students to get active and stay healthy. The curriculum in Healthy Brains, Healthy Bodies exposes students to the newest research regarding the effects of regular physical activity on brain health and total wellbeing.

The WE app is a resource that provides exercise and movement videos created by our staff and students.  Even a 9-minute workout can get you going!

UVM WE 4/20 5K for Wellness 

2016 marked the first annual UVM WE 4/20 5K for Wellness, a substance- and cost- free fun run/walk for the UVM and greater Burlington communities!

Why Participate?

  • April 20th is historically a day that celebrates unhealthy choices. WE believes in providing resources to allow people to make healthy decisions not just this day, but every day of the year.
  • The aim of the race is to utilize the science of behavioral change to highlight our community members who want to center their lives around health promotion and to build healthy brains.
