(May 29, 2020) COVID-19 Campus Parking Update

Thank you for your patience as the situation related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak continues here at UVM. Please take note of the following update on information last published on 3/24/2020 regarding Transportation & Parking operations:

  •  Parking regulations continue to be enforced for handicap spaces, fire lane access and restricted areas such as travel lanes and University green space.  The following modifications begin immediately until further notice.  Please refer to http://www.uvm.edu/map/ for lot names and locations.

 

Students

• All students parking a motor vehicle on campus must have a valid permit.

• Note the Converse Lot is closed to all parking until further notice.

• Note the Beaumont Lot is closed to Medical Student parking until further notice.

• Note the Jeffords East Lot is closed to Student parking until further notice.

• In addition to normally assigned areas, Student Commuter permits will be honored in Residential Lots regardless of the lots color designation. These lots include the word Resident on signs located at or adjacent to lot entrances. Your permit will be valid in Faculty/Staff Lots in the campus core after 3:30 pm Mon-Fri and weekends.

• In addition to normally assigned areas, Student Resident permits will allowed in Residential Lots regardless of the lots color designation as well as the Gutterson Garage or its surface areas.  Your permit will be valid in Faculty/Staff Lots in the campus core after 3:30 pm and weekends.

 

Employees

• All employees parking a motor vehicle on campus must have a valid permit. Please refer to http://www.uvm.edu/map/ for lot names and locations.

• Note the Converse Lot is closed to all parking until further notice.

• Note the Jeffords East Lot is closed to employee parking until further notice.

Employee Green Permits:
• May park in normally assigned areas in addition to the Jeanne Mance Lot located at 394 Pearl Street.

Employee White Permits:
• May park in normally assigned areas, Residential Lots and other campus lots that normally require a Green Employee permit.

Employee Brown Permits:

•May park in normally assigned areas, Residential Lots and other campus lots that normally require a Green Employee permit.
