To reset a proxy payer pin number, first navigate to the UVM proxy payer login site: go.uvm.edu/proxyaccess. Enter the user e-mail in the “E-mail Address” field and click “Forgot Pin”.
It can take few minutes before the e-mail is visible in your inbox. Should multiple PIN reset e-mails be sent, only the most recent e-mail received will contain the correct action password. The e-mail you receive should look something like this:
The highlighted link will take you to a page asking for the “Action Password”.
After clicking “Save”, the following page will ask you again for your e-mail as well as your previous PIN. Enter the Action Password in this field. While the action password is composed of both letters and numbers, your new PIN must be numerical.
The action password should be reset at this point.
