This practicum guides project initiation including summary tasks and milestones, business plan, identification of resources assigned to tasks, and task interdependencies. Project monitoring, reporting, and management are required. Prerequisite: GRNS 7220.

Section Description
Implementation of the DNP Project through operationalizing project methods. Students will assess contextual elements that contribute to success, failure, efficiency and cost of the DNP Project, address ethical aspects of implementing and studying interventions and utilize methods to assess for completeness and accuracy of the data.
Section Expectation
During this practicum, the student will begin to prepare for and initiate project implementation for the DNP project with continued development of a high-level project plan. Students will operationalize the project methods; assess contextual elements that contribute to an efficacious and cost-effective DNP Project. Emphasis on ethical aspects of implementing and studying the intervention, utilization of methods to assess completeness and accuracy of the data, and refinement of their quality improvement report. Project monitoring, reporting, and management employing standardized electronic logging will be completed.
