Involvement doesn't stop at joining a club or organization - we also take great pride in providing students with a number of experiential learning opportunities that can help them build skills that employers are looking for - and get paid while doing it. 

On-Campus student jobs at UVM are often available under two kinds of employment - Work Study and Non-Work Study.  Across our various program areas we have both Work Study and Non-Work Study positions available.  Check out some of the opportunities and their hiring timelines below:

Student Life Office Assistant

Be the helping hand that assists visitors who arrive at our office - and maybe give them a Cats at the Movies ticket in the process. Our office assistants greet visitors, answer phones, book meetings, and provide a variety of support to the function of our front desk and departmental program areas.

Event Planning - Campus Programs Summer Interns

Help plan this year's Week of Welcome.  Have a say in branding and marketing, create and organize events, and help craft a memorable experience for students when they first arrive on our campus.  Campus Programs Summer Interns also plan a summer concert series that takes place for staff, faculty, and students on campus over the summer months.
