SOCKS at Vermont Fest for K-12 educators!

Regina Toolin, PhD (center), member of the SOCKS Education and Workforce Development Team and Associate Professor of STEM Education at the University of Vermont, Rusti Gregory, Missisquoi Valley School District (left) and Jonna Keith, Otter Valley Union High School (right) attended the Vermont EPSCoR at Vermont Fest 2025 held November 5-7, 2025, in Killington, Vermont! Mr. Gregory and Ms. Keith are currently enrolled in the SOCKS supported UVM Graduate Certificate in Computer Science for licensed grades 7-12 educators led by Dr. Toolin. Vermont Fest is a premier event for K-12 educators, IT professionals, technology coaches, and librarians.

Over the three-day event, Vermont Fest offered workshops and presentations that helped participants more effectively integrate technology into classrooms, libraries, and schools. Dr. Toolin, Mr. Gregory and Ms. Keith shared their experiences with interested attendees about opportunities in teaching computer science. To view the Vermont Fest archives, click here.
