David Jangraw, PhD, SOCKS Health Team member, project lead, and Assistant Professor of Electrical and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Vermont, gave the inaugural presentation for the Vermont Complex Systems Institute (VCSI) Internal Speaker Series on September 29, 2025. The presentation, "Unobtrusive Monitoring of Age-Related Cognitive Risk Factors Using Conversational Speech," drew from SOCKS research that Dr. Jangraw and the Health Team are investigating. The VCSI Internal Speaker Series is an opportunity for members of the VCSI to share their research across the institute. Dr. Jangraw is affiliated with both the VCSI and SOCKS. Approximately 25 researchers, graduate students, and staff attended the presentation.
