Join\u00a0regional organizations for\u00a0a discussion on\u00a0Wednesday, April 29th at 6:00 pm<\/strong>\u00a0to hear about actions the state and local organizations\u00a0are taking\u00a0to reduce flood risk and protect our communities.<\/p>\n

This event\u00a0will also provide information on\u00a0Vermont\u2019s\u00a0Flood Safety\u00a0Act, which\u00a0is designed\u00a0to\u00a0address flood\u00a0risk\u00a0through a watershed-wide approach.\u00a0Planning for\u00a0resilience now is crucial\u00a0in preventing\u00a0further loss of life and property in future storms.\u00a0This event will help\u00a0towns and community members understand\u00a0what the\u00a0implementation of statewide river corridor\u00a0protections\u00a0means\u00a0for their\u00a0town\u00a0and\u00a0provide time to\u00a0answer\u00a0questions related to the Act.<\/p>\n

All community members are welcome and encouraged to attend!<\/p>\n
