The fellow will support and communicate the work of stream, lake, and floodplain protection and restoration in the Ausable River watershed of upstate New York and neighboring watersheds in the Lake Champlain basin. Interested candidates should apply by March 18, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe partnering organizations seek an individual to apply advanced GIS data skills to analyze, map, and visualize scientific field data and present it in ways that effectively communicate AsRA\u2019s\u00a0programs and projects to diverse audiences. This two-year, paid fellowship\u00a0is based in AsRA\u2019s office located in Wilmington, New York with opportunities to engage and work with Lake Champlain Sea Grant staff in Plattsburgh, New York and Burlington, Vermont.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe ideal candidate should have proven proficiency with ArcGIS (Pro, Map, Online, StoryMaps, Model Builder, Spatial Analyst), as demonstrated in prior positions and coursework.
