Graduate students from all disciplines\u00a0who are interested in ocean, coastal, and Great Lakes resources and national policy decisions are welcome to apply. Students need to have aligned career goals and leadership experience, but they do not need experience in policy or water science.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tExecutive placements may be with\u00a0NOAA, U.S. Navy, Department of Transportation, Water Power Technologies in the Department of Energy, Fish and Wildlife Service, Environmental Protection Agency, or others. Legislative placements may be with U.S. senators or representatives of committees within Congress, such as the House Committee on Natural Resources or the U.S. Senate Committee on Science, Commerce and Transportation.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe fellowship\u00a0will start February 1, 2022\u00a0and run through January 31, 2023.
