SUMMARY:Saranac River Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:DATE: OCTOBER 3RD\, 2026\nTIME: 10 AM – 1 PM\nMEET-UP LOCATION:  7 RUGAR STREET\, BEHIND HARRINGTON HALL ON SUNY PLATTSBURGH CAMPUS\n \nWalk along the Saranac River banks and clear trash and other marine debris\, because every day is Earth Day!\n \nClean-up supplies will be provided. To ensure everyone has the proper equipment\, registration is capped at 25 participants. All trash collected will be sorted and recorded.\n\nRegister here\n \nWHAT ELSE SHOULD YOU KNOW?\n \nWhere to park? Park in the parking lot behind Harrington Hall. No parking pass is required for the duration of this event.\n \nWhat should you wear? Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty\, sturdy shoes\, rain gear. This event is rain or shine.\n \nWhat shall you bring? Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. If you have cleanup equipment at home (i.e.\, sturdy gloves\, grabber\, bucket)\, you are welcome to bring it.\n\nOnce you have submitted the form\, you will receive a confirmation email from Aveline McCabe (amcca031@plattsburgh.edu).\n\n\nThis opportunity is made possible by the Lake Champlain Basin Marine Debris Coalition\, Lake Champlain Sea Grant\, and the Lake Champlain Committee.
