Since the early October Salt Summit was held quite a distance from Burlington, Vermont, this limited participation from those in the Eastern Lake Champlain Basin and Vermont. To allow road crews and private contractors from various municipalities in this area to receive training in best low salt practices, a second Road Salt Education Workshop will be held on Thursday, October 24, from 8 AM until NOON at the UVM Spear St Forestry Lab conference room, 705 Spear St, South Burlington. There is no cost, but registration is limited to 45 people due to room size. Register here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScvipFhedmz2eoqCHh11aXu3yhjteqy...
