Taking Care of Existing Employees

The University has human resource policies & procedures that follow state and federal agency regulations. Additionally, business process’ have been developed to ensure accurate information is communicated to UVM Human Resource Services so employees are paid correctly, and their salary/wages are charged to the correct budgets.

UVM faculty and staff are unionized and are covered under separate collective bargaining agreements, which can be located on the Labor & Employee Relations website. Administrators and non-union faculty and staff are covered under the faculty and staff handbooks located on the Human Resource Service website. If you have questions about which bargaining unit you are represented by, please reach out to the RSENR Human Resource Coordinator at rsenrhr@uvm.edu.
