Coronavirus safety signage

As we return to work on campus, a number of health and safety guidelines have been implemented to support and protect UVM faculty and staff. These new operational and business policies and procedures follow Vermont Department of Health regulations, CDC recommendations, and local ordinances. Fall 2020 Operations Planning for Employees shares guidance documents for employee management of classrooms and laboratories, safety protocols for UVM transportation vehicles, and more.

Essential Employees & Remote Work

COVID-19 Employee Information addresses faculty and staff remote work requests, new protocols including the mandatory Employee Daily Health Check-In, and other helpful information and resources specific to UVM faculty and staff. Campus Health & Safety includes guidance and procedures related to health and safety including face coverings, disinfection, and activity-specific hazards assessments.  Coming Back: An Employee Guide for Returning to Campus (pdf) summarizes all relevant information in a visual and downloadable document.

All university-sponsored travel (domestic and international) is currently suspended except for special circumstances, which will undergo a rigorous review process. UVM will continue to require prior travel authorization for any domestic and international travel that is approved following appeal and rigorous review. See the Travel FAQs (pdf) for detailed information.
