Essential Employees & Remote Work

As employees return to work on campus, a number of health and safety guidelines have been implemented to support and protect UVM faculty and staff.  These new operational and business policies and procedures are consistent with Vermont Department of Health regulations, CDC recommendations, and local ordinances. 

COVID-19 Employee Information addresses faculty and staff remote work requests, policies, and procedures related to health and safety concerns, new protocols including the mandatory UVM VOSHA Training for employees, and other helpful information and resources specific to UVM faculty and staff.

Travel

All university-sponsored travel (domestic and international) is currently suspended except for special circumstances, which will undergo a rigorous review process. UVM will continue to require prior travel authorization for any domestic and international travel that is approved following appeal and rigorous review.
