Dear UVM community,
I am pleased to announce the call for nominations for the President’s Our Common Ground Staff Award. The award recognizes six staff members who have made extraordinary contributions that have had a significant impact on our university and who exemplify the values expressed in Our Common Ground. Each recipient receives a $1,000 prize and is recognized on a permanent plaque. Because the pandemic prevented us from making awards last year, I have authorized recognition of up to 12 staff members this year.
I encourage faculty, staff and students to nominate staff for this important award. The attached contains additional information about the award, including the criteria and the nomination process. Information also is available on the President’s Our Common Ground Staff Award website.
The deadline to submit nominations is June 30, 2021. Nominations should be sent to Bethany Wolfe, Executive Assistant to Vice President for Operations and Public Safety, at Bethany.Wolfe@uvm.edu or mailed to 347A Waterman Building. Recipients will be announced later in August 2021 and will be recognized at an awards luncheon on Friday, September 24, 2021.
