About Charlotte Archuletta
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC/MHSP-S), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Board Certified TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH), and Fellow in Thanatology (FT), specializing in grief, trauma, and health-related transitions. My clinical work includes private practice and counseling roles supporting individuals navigating serious illness, end-of-life concerns, caregiver stress, and bereavement.
I am EMDRIA Certified and a Consultant-in-Training, and I serve as a facilitator in EMDR Basic Training through ConnectEMDR. I am also an Instructor with the University of Vermont, Larner College of Medicine, End-of-Life Doula Professional Certificate Program.
My work integrates clinical counseling, grief education, and end-of-life care. I provide national continuing education for clinicians on grief, trauma, and meaning-making after loss.
I am also the author of an article on anticipatory grief for the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) Visions e-newsletter, a national publication distributed to over 70,000 certified counselors.
I am coauthor of “Health-Medical Challenges and Grief: Group EMDR Therapy for Patients and Caregivers,” which is featured in EMDR Group Therapy: Emerging Principles and Protocols to Treat Trauma and Beyond (Springer Publishing).
