Originally from Salt Lake City, and raised in the forest wilderness of Southern Oregon, I earned my journalism degree from Southern Oregon University (just as the newspaper industry was beginning to unravel). I am living proof that your degree does not dictate your career path! I joined the Career Center in March 2022, after leading communication efforts for non-profits, small businesses, local government, and national corporations. I also play upright bass, and love bluegrass music. You might see me in the Davis Center Atrium picking away with students and faculty to some old folk tunes. Come by and say hello!
