Growing up in western Colorado, I grew up loving hiking, walking, rafting, painting, reading, and most importantly, porch-sitting. After moving what felt like worlds away, I graduated from UVM with a B.S. in Environmental Studies (RSENR) as well as Community and International Development (CALS). During that time, I worked for the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies doing administrative and program support and caring for a very grumpy Great Horned Owl. Thanks to Covid, I also found a love of agriculture! Turns out growing vegetables and weeding in dry dry dirt is good for the soul. I am currently working as the Employer Relations & Operations Specialist in the Career Center to increase financial, human, and social capital for the UVM and greater Vermont community. If you stop by the Center, I can be found greeting you kindly, chatting with employers, and most likely listening to the Chicks’ entire discography.
