Capstone Coordinator

Dr. Maynard is a pediatric occupational therapist with 26 years of experience working in a range of settings, including 10 years of adult upper extremity rehab. She is a certified hand therapist (CHT) specializing in adult and pediatric complex injuries and congenital upper extremity conditions, in addition to being board certified in pediatrics (BCP). Dr. Maynard is dedicated to interprofessional initiatives to improve collaboration to improve health equity and health care delivery, and was a fellow in the Kern Faculty Fellowship for Humanistic Healthcare. She serves on the Occupational Therapy Advanced Certification Commission for American Occupational Therapy Association, is a Fellow and Chair of the Occupational Therapy Academy of the National Academies of Practice, and member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, World Federation of Occupational Therapists, and American Society of Hand Therapists.
