Biography

Kristina M. Pisanelli

Elected to the Board by the self-perpetuating board in 2022. Term expires in March 2028. Born in Brighton, Massachusetts, and raised in Mendon, Vermont. Educated at UVM, BA, Political Science and History, 1997; and Georgetown University Law Center, Juris Doctor, 2005. Kristina is currently Vice President and Head of Global Government Affairs for Medtronic where she is responsible for strategy and engagement with governments throughout world. Previously, she served as Vice President of Government Affairs for the Americas Region at Medtronic. Prior to joining Medtronic in 2015, Kristina served as Vice President, U.S. External Affairs for Fiat Chrysler Automotive (now Stellantis). She also previously practiced law in Washington, DC, and served as a legislative assistant to Vermont U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy (1999-2003) and as a policy analyst in the Office of the Governor of Vermont for Howard Dean (1997-1999). Kristina is a member of the UVM Foundation Board of Directors, past President of the UVM Alumni Association, and former member and the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources and Honors College Boards of Advisors. She received the Distinguished Service Award from the UVM Alumni Association in 2020. Kristina resides in Washington, DC.
