Contractor, Recruiting Operations Officer (Interim)

Mr. Jesse DeTeresa was born in 1996 in Mokpo, South Korea and was adopted by his parents in New York soon after. He attended Ithaca College in 2014 then joined the Army ROTC Program at Cornell in 2015. Mr. DeTeresa enlisted in the New York Army National Guard as an SMP Cadet in 2016 and was assigned to Delta Company 2-108 IN in Ithaca, NY. After he graduated Ithaca College in 2019, he commissioned as an Infantry Officer in the National Guard, assigned to Bravo Company 2-108 IN where he is currently a Platoon Leader. Mr. DeTeresa became a contractor for Cornell's Army ROTC program at the beginning of 2020 then transferred to Clarkson University in November of 2020 upon completion of Infantry Basic Officer Leader Course (IBOLC). During his time in the National Guard, he has been activated for COVID-19 support efforts in NYC and Presidential Inauguration support. In September of 2021, he became the Contractor and interim Recruiting Operations Officer for the University of Vermont Army ROTC program.
