The University of Vermont has received an allocation of funding for direct student support from the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund II (HEERF II), which is authorized by the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA).

  • HEERF II Emergency Grants may be used by students for any portion of their cost of attendance (tuition, fees, room, board, books, supplies, miscellaneous educational related items) and/or for emergency expenses due to COVID-19 such as housing, food, health care, mental health care, and child care.
  • Students may only apply for HEERF II Emergency Grant funds for costs or expenses for which they have not already received financial assistance from any other source, including but not limited to other federal, institutional, state or other financial aid sources, CARES Grant and/or an automatic HEERF II Emergency Grant.
  • International, DACA and undocumented students may submit this application, but cannot receive HEERF II funds, so the application will be used to consider these students for any other possible sources of aid that become available.

This application may only be submitted once by each student.

The HEERF II Emergency Grant Application is closed at this time. Please check back often for up-to-date information.
